- Personal data collection
We collect the following personal data about users:
- Phone number
- Email address
- Job title
- Place of employment
- IP address
In addition, we collect information about users' application of the CarBuddii system, including the CarBuddii app and the associated management tool.
- Purpose and legal basis
We process personal data about the users in order for us to fulfil the agreement about the use of the CarBuddii system, cf. the Danish Data Protection Act, section 6, paragraph 1, cf. the General Data Protection Regulation, art. 6, paragraph 1(b), including for invoicing purposes, and in order for us to manage user accounts and communicate with the users about the CarBuddii system.
In addition, personal data about the users’ application of the CarBuddii system are processed in order for us to pursue our legitimate interest in improving our products and services, cf. the Danish Data Protection Act, section 6, paragraph 1, cf. the General Data Protection Regulation, art. 6, paragraph 1(f). For the same purpose, the users' personal data may also be applied in relation to customer satisfaction surveys and the like, cf. the Danish Data Protection Act, section 6, paragraph 1, cf. the General Data Protection Regulation, art. 6, paragraph 1(f).
In relation to signing up for a subscription with CarBuddii, if consent has been granted for this purpose, cf. the Danish Data Protection Act, section 6, paragraph 1, cf. the General Data Protection Regulation, art. 6, paragraph 1(a), we may also process certain personal data for direct marketing purposes, including to send newsletters and special offers. A user’s consent can be revoked any time by contacting us at CarBuddii A/S, company registration number. 37510750, Rosensgade 22, 2., DK-8000 Aarhus C, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by clicking the unsubscribe link in the marketing messages we send electronically.
- Receivers of personal data
We may share the recorded information about the users with our service providers, including IT and cloud service providers.
- Storage and deletion
The users' personal data will be deleted when we no longer need to process them in order to fulfil one or more the above-mentioned purposes unless we are required by applicable law to continue storing them.
Accounting records will thus be stored for five (5) years until the end of the financial year the material pertains to, cf. the Danish Bookkeeping Act, section 10, paragraph 1.
Personal data being processed for the purpose of direct marketing in accordance with the user's consent will be deleted if the consent is revoked, or after one (1) year since our last communication with the user.
Any other collected personal data will be deleted immediately after the termination of the use of the CarBuddii system. However, information pertaining to our signing and fulfilling the agreement will be stored for three (3) years after its termination for the purpose of processing any claims, cf. the Danish Limitation Act, section 3, or until such claims have been fully processed.
- Rights etc.
The users have the right to gain insight into the personal data collected and processed by us and request to have them deleted. Moreover, they have the right to dispute the collection and the further processing of their personal data. In addition, they have the right to have the process of their personal data rectified and limited and to have a copy of their data transferred to themselves or a third party.
However, it should be noted that in some cases we may be entitled to refuse any requests for insight, rectification, dispute, and transfer of a user's data to a third-party and/or deletion, if we have legal, unbiased, and impartial reasons to do so. In any case, though, the users will receive a reply from us with a justification for a refusal of their request.
